How to Import a Global Assembly into a Proposal

Adding global assemblies into a proposal is a useful time-saving tip when building out estimates.

1. To import a Global Assembly into your proposal in Bolster, follow these step

Access Your Proposal:
Open the proposal where you want to add a Global Assembly

Add an Item:
Click on the "Add item" button.

2. Browse the Item Catalog:

  • Select "Browse Full Item Catalog."

3. Select the Bolster Legacy Catalog:

  • Click on "Bolster Legacy Catalog."

  • If you do not have access, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Bolster for assistance.

4. Choose a Global Assembly:

  • Browse through the catalog, which contains over 500 Global Assemblies.

  • Click on the desired assembly to select it. Ensure the checkmark is enabled.

5. Add to Estimate:

  • In the top right-hand corner, click "Add to Estimate" to include the assembly in your proposal.

6. Review and Edit:

  • Once added, you can choose to go through a tutorial or skip it.

  • Open the assembly by clicking the blue plus button to view sub-assemblies and items.

  • Edit the items as needed.
