How to Create an Assembly from Scratch
This guide will walk you through the steps to create an assembly from scratch, ensuring your quotes are structured and easy to manage.
How-to:
1. Start a New Proposal:
- Select "Start from scratch" to create a new proposal.
2. Add a Line Item:
- Click in the line item area.
3. Convert to Assembly:
- Click on the 6 dots next to the line item.
- Give your new assembly a name so you can find it later.
4. Add Line Items to Assembly:
- Now you can add line items to the assembly. This helps group related items together.
5. Sub-Assemblies:
- To further organize your proposal you can create sub-assemblies.
- Click the + to add a new line below an existing assembly.
- Convert this new line into a sub-assembly and add more line items.
