How to Change the Category on an Assembly

Categories are essential for organizing items and assemblies, making them easy to locate when preparing proposals.

Steps to Change the Category


1. Access the Assembly:

  • Navigate to the assembly you wish to modify. Click on the Box icon to open the item detail window. For example, if you are working with a bathroom assembly, ensure it is open and visible on your screen.

2. Locate the Category section:

  • Find the category section in the popup window. This is typically the second line in the interface.

3. Select an Existing Category:

  • Click on the Choose button to view a list of existing categories. Choose the category that best suits your assembly from the list.

4. Create a New Category (if needed):

  • If the desired category does not exist, you can create a new one. Click on the grey "New" box located directly under the category label. Enter the name of the new category and save it.
