Adding Minimum Quantities in Bolster
In Bolster, setting minimums for an item means the customer must buy a minimum amount of the product. This is useful for bulk sales or to make money on low margin items.
Steps to Add Minimums
1. Select an item or assembly:
- Click on the Box icon to open the detail window
- Click on the Production section.
- Scroll to the bottom and click on the Root category.
Additional Considerations
-
Bulk Discounts: Set up bulk discounts along with minimums to encourage bigger purchases.
-
Inventory Alerts: Make sure inventory alerts are set up to notify you when stock is getting low to the minimum.
-
Customer Communication: Communicate minimum purchase requirements to customers on the product page so they don’t get confused.
By following these you can manage minimums for your items in Bolster and supercharge your sales and inventory.
