Unlink / unsync / unsave item or assembly in a quote

You may want to unlink an assembly or item from its saved version, for example if you are making contextual changes inside an assembly that you want to save only in that one place. That means that when those items or assemblies are updated externally, it won’t affect these unlinked items in this assembly.

• Click on the actions menu on an item or assembly

• When the menu pops up, if it is a saved version, it will show Unlink from saved version. Click that.

• Now you should see the little saved database icon disappear because that item is no longer related to the saved version.
