Changing company-wide markup or margin
You can change the default margin, as well as the minimum margin required on each job. The default margin will set the markup by default on every new item. You can change the default and any items that are using the default markup, will see their markup change automatically (only on new items when added to a proposal/project). Changing the default margin will not affect any items already added to a proposal/project.
- Open the services panel

Go to Estimating and presentation settings
- Scroll down to where the Default margin section

Move the green circle on the slider up or down, or set the margin or markup directly
- Now when adding a pre-built assembly or item, or one of your own items that uses the default markup to a proposal, you will see it with your new markup.
