How to Let Buyers Set Their Own Quantity or Dimension

Learn how to let buyers set their own quantity or dimension for a line item on their quote, so they can adjust their budget without an on-site measurement.

Overview
You can allow a client to set their own quantity or dimension for a line item on their quote. This lets buyers play with their quote and budget by adjusting the quantity or dimension of that item themselves, which can save you a trip to do an on-site measurement.

Before You Begin

  • Identify the line item you want the buyer to be able to adjust.

1. Click the cube icon on the line item you want the client to be able to set.

2. Click into the line item.

3. Go to Sales, then Optionality and Upgrades.

4. Click the toggle for Allow the Buyer to Set Quantity.

5. Save your changes.

Once saved, the buyer will be able to input the dimension or quantity, whatever applies, for that line item directly on their quote.
