How to Delete Line Items in Estimates

Learn how to use Safe Delete to check item usage in your catalog, plus how to delete single or multiple line items directly from an estimate.

Overview
There are two ways to delete a line item or assembly directly from an estimate.

Option 1: Delete a Single Line Item

1. Hover over the line item you want to delete.

2. A square checkbox, a six-dot icon, and a plus button will appear.

3. Hover over the six-dot icon and select it.

4. Press Delete.

Option 2: Delete Multiple Line Items

1. Select the square checkbox next to each line item you want to delete.

2. Click the Delete button at the top of the estimate.

Note that there is no undo button in Bolster, so double-check your selections before deleting.

Why This Matters

  • Knowing both single and multi-select delete options lets you clean up line items quickly and accurately.

Summary

Delete a single line item using the six-dot icon and Delete button, or select multiple items with their checkboxes and delete them all at once from the top of the estimate. There is no undo, so confirm your selections before deleting.
