How to Change the Salesperson on an Individual Job
When a customer is created under one salesperson but a specific job was sold by someone else, you can reassign the salesperson on that individual job without changing the customer's overall owner. This is controlled by the Estimator / sale / client owner role inside each project's settings. Follow the steps below.
Step 1 — Open the Project Pipeline
From your dashboard, go to the left sidebar. Under Essentials, click Project Pipeline (the flow board of leads, estimates, and projects). This is where all jobs live, organized by stage.
Step 2 — Find and open the job
In the Pipeline, locate the specific job you need to reassign. Click the job to open it.
Step 3 — Go to the job's Settings
Inside the project, open the General section in the left Project menu and click Settings (Job details and settings).

Step 4 — Locate the Roles section
At the top of the Settings page you'll see Roles, with three assignments: Estimator / sale / client owner, Project manager, and Designer. The Estimator / sale / client owner is the salesperson credited with selling this job — this is the field to change.

Step 5 — Select the correct salesperson
Click the Estimator / sale / client owner dropdown. A search panel opens with a list of team members. Search for the salesperson who actually sold the job and select them. The change saves to this job only and overrides the salesperson inherited from the customer.
