How to Add a Task Item to an Estimate

Overview
Task items let you add action-based line items to your estimate, such as apply for a permit or order materials, so you can track and assign work to contractors, vendors, or other personnel.
Before You Begin
- Identify the task you want to add and who it should be assigned to (e.g., a contractor or vendor).
1. In your Estimate, click the Plus Item button.
2. Scroll down to More, then select Task.
3. Once added, the item will display with a check mark symbol, identifying it as a task item.
4. Name the task item appropriately (for example, Apply for Permit or Order Materials).
5. Assign the task item as needed.
