How do I use Open Quotes?

Open Quotes is a way to publish specific assemblies from your private catalog so homeowners can browse them on a public Get a Quote page and submit a request. When they submit, Bolster automatically creates a client and estimate for you.

What you need first

  • Assemblies saved in your Item + Assembly Catalog (private catalog).

How to publish an assembly (make it available publicly)

  1. Go to Item + Assembly Catalog (left menu).

  2. Click the Gallery tab.

  3. Find the assembly you want to offer publicly and publish it to your public catalog.

How to add published assemblies to your “Get a quote” page

  1. Go to Marketing (left menu).

  2. Open Showcase or Open Quote.

  3. In the builder, open the Get a quote tab.

  4. Confirm your published assemblies appear there—those are what homeowners will see.

What happens after someone submits an OpenQuote?

  • A submission creates a client and an estimate in Bolster.

  • You may see a notification that says, “You received a new lead,” but the key outcome is still: client and estimate created.
