Hiding Items/Assemblies From Client/Preview

This guide explains how to control what your clients see in estimate previews by hiding specific items or assemblies. It covers using Theme Settings for global visibility preferences and adjusting individual items directly in the preview.

1. Open the Estimate Preview
Go to the Preview tab within your estimate.

2. Access Theme Settings
At the bottom of the screen, click Theme Settings.

3. Adjust Client Visibility
From here, you can select or deselect options to control what your client sees in the estimate.

4. Alternatively, you can edit directly on your preview under Items and Selections

5. Highlight or Edit Individual Items

  • Open an assembly and scroll to the item you want to adjust.

  • Use the micro tools to:

  • Hide the entire item

  • Hide the item’s price

  • Hide the item’s quantity

6. Choose the Level of Control

These visibility and highlight settings can be applied at either the item level or the assembly level.

7. Remember to Save Estimate Changes (top right of screen) to save your work.
